Prashanth Neel’s film ‘zoomed past the ₹700 crore gross threshold’ globally, according to cinema trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan, who shared the news on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday.

Concerning Salaar
Action movie Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire is written and directed by Prashanth Neel. Along with Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, and Ramachandra Raju, the ensemble cast also stars Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
The film centres on the friendship between Varadha (Prithviraj), the prince of Khansaar, and Deva (Prabhas), a tribesman, and is set in the fictional dystopian city-state of Khansaar. Salaar 2, officially known as Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam, is now in production; in a recent interview, Prabhas discussed the filming process.
