Abhay Singh Rathore, Lucknow:

Efforts are being made at every level to make the consecration ceremony in Ayodhya on January 22 grand and divine. Ram Temple Trust and the Yogi government are preparing for it at their respective levels. Regarding the organization of the consecration ceremony, security arrangements in Ayodhya will be flawless, while traffic management from Lucknow Airport to Ayodhya has been ensured. The UP Traffic Police has prepared a comprehensive plan for this. Three main routes have been marked for traveling from the capital Lucknow to Ayodhya.

The route from Lucknow to Ayodhya, passing through Chinhat and Matiyari in Barabanki, has been included in the main roads. Additionally, those traveling from Lucknow to Ayodhya can also reach the city through Sultanpur Road. For those wanting a direct route from Lucknow to Ayodhya, the option of using the Purvanchal Expressway from Ahimamau is available. Apart from this, a third route has also been prepared. People heading to Ayodhya from Ahimamau, passing through Sultanpur Road, can take the Kisan Path, descend near the Indira Canal, and proceed through Barabanki to reach Ayodhya.

In the meantime, there is a demand for an additional 400 traffic police personnel in Lucknow to maintain traffic arrangements. If this demand is fulfilled, traffic police officers will be placed on 12-hour shifts, both day and night, at major intersections. This is intended to ensure effective traffic management. Additionally, directives have been given to create green corridors.

Under the Green Corridor, traffic will flow smoothly without any hindrance. Ensuring no unauthorized parking is crucial. The entire road from Lucknow to Ayodhya will be thoroughly insured. Coordination between red and green lights will be maintained. Vehicles obstructing the road will be removed using cranes. Control measures will be applied to small vehicles, including e-rickshaws. Additionally, any encroachments on these roads will be cleared to provide wider lanes.

On January 22, those going to Ayodhya via VVIP routes should not face any delays. The police department is preparing for this. According to information, on January 22, the entry of outsiders will be completely restricted. Only those who have received invitations will be allowed to go to Ayodhya. This could be implemented from January 18.

A decision has been made to divert larger vehicles from January 19. Currently, Lucknow Police has completed its preparations until January 22. However, the issuance of a roadmap by Ayodhya Police regarding the route for the Pran Pratishtha program is pending.
